It's not too bad for me fortunately, happened twice so far, but others seem to be affected much worse. Quite a lot of threads about it on the forums so hopefully GGG can figure it out soon. I think that is what actually made my quit the spellslinger toon! I do randomly have the game just close on me when transitioning zone though. Not had freezes so far but I've only done one Harvest and that took forever as I was literally running for my life the whole time. Shame as the art style and alternate reality is pretty cool to be in, just feels like a waste of time. Feels like a league I'll be happy not to see go core. I'm just not seeing much drop from it at all although tbf most of my playtime so far has been levelling. I'm not worried about staying interested whilst mapping.at least once I have a build that can at least deal with the Scourge in white maps reliably!Īgree with you, mechanic definitely seems pretty lackluster.

Plenty of maps I like running early on like Arid Lake, Strand, Dunes and Haunted Mansion. On the up side the Atlas isn't as bad as I feared. Feels like it's success will hinge on the corruption mechanic. It's kinda like a strictly worse delirium though although with better visual clarity. Jury still out on the league mechanic, could be fun if I had a build that could cope with it better. At least I have a tabula now so hopefully levelling will be less painful. Hopefully having a meatshield between me and the Scourge will be handy. I could persevere with it but it's just not fun at all for me atm. I definitely think EO isn't working as my damage shouldn't be this bad I don't feel but I guess I haven't played since the 3.15 nerfs so maybe it is just this bad now. If I go into the Nightmare it just gets me killed most of the time. Well, much like I've given up with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer I've given up on this spellslinger toon too! It just lacks damage so badly it's not really fun to play. I look forward to reading your initial impressions though. It did sound like the Alpha testers got it a week or so ago so hopefully any major issues have been ironed out before launch. I'm a little worried that the mechanic might be fairly complicated and we'll just see people crashing as soon as they enter it which I remember being a major pain for me in Synthesis and Heist. Hopefully it's a smooth launch this time round.

I should be free most of Saturday & Sunday though. With the 100% increased mana reservation efficiency of clarity on a mana mastery I should be able to run a lvl 20 clarity which should solve the mana issues along with a mana flask if I need some extra whilst bossing.Īt the moment it's not looking like I'll be able to play tonight. I'll just have that on a spell totem instead so it should be up for bosses where it will be needed most. Seems doable with a couple of mana clusters and not using a spellslinger setup for wave of conviction. I think I'm going to try and make Volatile Dead Spellslinger work.
